STEP ACTION
3
Control the platform from the basket, bringing it to its resting position and thus allowing the operator to be
lowered to the ground.
4
Contact the Assistance department to have the breakdown repaired.
7.4.3. BREAKDOWN OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM
If both the control stations are not working, the breakdown probably concerns the electrical system.
In this case, it is advisable to contact the Assistance service to lower the operator to the ground.
Alternatively, the emergency manoeuvre can be carried out (described below). The operator who carries out this manoeuvre
has to be duly trained in this type of operations and has to have carried them out previously, for example during training.
7.4.4. BREAKDOWN OF THE SUPPLY SYSTEMS.
The carriage engine supply systems, plus any other optional ones, can be used one in alternative to the other.
IMPORTANT!
If all the available supply systems have broken down but the electrical system is working properly, it
is not necessary to proceed with the ''emergency lowering of the cage-operator'', but it is possible
to operate normally from the control stations from the cage or from the base, using the manual
pump as an alternative supply system.
The operator can be lowered to the ground by following the procedure described here below:
STEP ACTION
1
Check whether or not you can restore at least one of the supply systems.
Check the fuel level or, in case of electrical power supply, the proper connection of the socket and the
presence of voltage in the system to which the machine is plugged in.
2
If you were unable to restore the supply, take the control bar of the hand pump from the vehicle cab.
3
Insert the control bar into the hand pump and, operating from the enabled control panel, manoeuvre the
platform by manually pumping the oil.
4
Bring the machine to its resting position.
5
Contact the Assistance department to have the breakdown repaired.
