Use and warning instructions in compliance with EC regulations - Page 65
8.3.2.4.2. CHECKING FOR OIL LEAKS
Visually follow, or clean using a dry cloth, all the tube bundles that make up the hydraulic system.
In case small leaks are detected, check the tightening of the unions nearest the area concerned by the leaks. In case of
significant oil leakage, contact the Assistance department
8.3.2.4.3. CHECK THE LIMITING DEVICE
To check for proper operation of the limiting device, proceed as described in the special paragraph in chapter “MACHINE USE”.
8.3.2.4.4. CHECK THE FASTENING OF THE LIMIT SWITCHES ON THE BOOM HEAD
Make sure the limit switches fitted on the heads of the booms (these may be in different quantities and position depending
on the model) are firmly screwed down to the arm frame. Should the screws be loose, tighten them and block them with
some strong Loctite.
8.3.2.4.5. VERIFYING THE PRESENCE OF INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CONTROLS AND WARNINGS
Make sure that the instructions on the controls and the warning plates are legible and properly positioned. In case of doubt,
contact the Assistance department.
8.3.2.4.6. VERIFYING THE OIL FILTER CONDITION
The filter on the delivery line has a visual clog indicator. When the indicator turns completely red, it is time to replace the
cartridge. To replace the filter cartridge, proceed as described below:
PPE NEEDED
STEP ACTION
1
Unscrew the filter body using a wrench.
2
Replace the cartridge.
3
Clean the container.
4
Lubricate the seal gasket.
5
Screw in by hand only, without tightening with wrenches.
ATTENTION!
Since it is necessary to change the filter, use cartridges with the same filtering grade. Different
filtering grades can cause serious damage to the pump and hydraulic system.
