• Observe the safety information when cleaning with compressed air or a pressure washer.

The surfaces of gear units or geared motors may be hot during or shortly after operation. In addition there is a
danger of burns due to hot fluids.
• Installation and maintenance work must only be performed when gear unit has cooled down.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Shield hot surfaces with contact guards.
NOTICE! Gear unit damage
Take care that no dirt or water enters the shaft sealing rings or the vents when cleaning.
• Dirt or water on shaft sealing rings may cause them to fail.
• Vents which are clogged with dirt prevent equalisation of pressure. For example, this results in faster wear of
the shaft sealing rings.
