Connecting an Ethernet Cable for
Factory Integration
The dispenser can be integrated into a factory system,
such as an automated dispensing system. For example,
when the dispenser is connected to a robot, you can set
up the system to switch programs automatically.
NOTE: The dispenser must have a unique static
IPaddress. If the dispenser is connected to a network
that includes another device with the same IP address,
follow this procedure to change the IP address of the
dispenser. The other connected devices in the system must
also have a unique IP address. If you need to change the IP
address of a computer, refer to “Appendix A, Changing the IP
Address of a Computer” on page58.
1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the
back of the dispenser and. to the robot
2. Press Settings > Ethernet. When the Ethernet Setup
screen opens, make a note of the dispenser’s IP address.
3. To change the IP address of the dispenser, enter the
desired IP address and then press Activate & Reboot.
4. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
