Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
2 Turn the check tool so that you see an image similar to the one
shown in the figure below.
3 Perform the distance mode stereo measurement (see page 116) to
measure a known distance of 2 mm or 0.1 inch between two
indices.
4 Confirm that the measurement accuracy is within ±10% and write
down the measurement result.
5 Perform the above test measurements before and after the actual
inspection to confirm that the obtained values are almost identical.
CAUTION
• The measurement values are not reliable if the above values differ from each other
considerably. The optical adapter may be loose or the lens may be dirty, inspect them.
