CAUTION
• Note that insufficient cleaning can result in a loss of waterproofing between the optical
adapter and the insertion tube's distal end.
• Cleaning should be done periodically in order to maintain water resistance.
Inspecting the parts of the optical adapter
Check that the parts of the optical adapter are not loose.
CAUTION
• Never use it if any parts are loose. Otherwise, the loose part may fall into the inspection
object.
Attaching and detaching the optical adapter
1 Positioning the optical adapter with the distal end of the insertion
tube so they are directly opposite each other, carefully insert the
optical adapter into the distal end of the insertion tube.
