3.2 Laying down the instrument

1 Place the instrument as illustrated below.

CAUTION

• Place the instrument on a level surface so it is stable. The instrument can tip over if it is not

stable.

• Do not place the instrument in a high place. Doing so may result in the instrument falling and

being damaged.
