Chapter 4 Basic operations
1 Insert a recording card
Insert a recording card (CF card) specified by OLYMPUS into the RECORDING
CARD slot on the instrument.
CAUTION
• Insert the recording card into the RECORDING CARD slot in the correct orientation.
Inserting the recording card into the RECORDING CARD slot in the wrong orientation may
damage the card and the slot. If there is any resistance when inserting the card, check the
orientation and do not force it.
NOTE
• To pull out the card, grasp the tag after pushing the eject button.
2 Setup of the image recording format
To setup image recording format, press the [MENU/EXIT] button on the remote
control to display the menu while in the live screen, and use the “RECORD”
menu for the setting (see “Live screen/frozen screen menu display and
functions” (page 73)).
a. To record the displayed date/time, title, logo and measurement results together on the
still image, set “ON” in the “PRINT SCREEN” menu (see page 74).
b. To record still images, use the “STILL QUAL” menu to select the format of still images.
c. If you want to record audio with still images, set the “STILL AUDIO” menu to “ON”.
d. Select where to save the file in the “DESTINATION” menu.
