Chapter 5 Menu operations and functions
Title input operations
There are three ways to input titles, as follows.
• Input text from the on-screen keyboard
• Access favorites to input
• Input from a USB keyboard
Input text from the on-screen keyboard
1 Select an input mode. Select the input mode button and press the
[MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
• [ABC]/[/ * @]: The alphabet/symbol mode changes each time the [MEAS/
ENTER] joystick is pressed.
• [ABC]/[ÀÁÃ]: The alphabet/European text mode changes each time the
[MEAS/ENTER] joystick is pressed.
2 Select the text button assigned to the letter you want to input.
3 Press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick to input the text you want.
If you input the first letter of a word, possible word choices appear in the
selection box.
4 Select the word you want for the title from the selection box and
press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick. To switch to a different page in
the selection box, select the previous/next selection button and
press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
The word selected in the selection box appears in the title input box.
5 Edit the work if necessary.
• To delete text, select the text to delete, select “DELETE” and press the
[MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
• To insert text, select where to insert the text in the title box and then do steps 2
and 3.
• To input a space, select where to input a space, select “SPACE” and press the
[MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
6 Repeat steps 2 through 5 to complete inputting a title.
