Densitometer Pulse Inputs*
Positive Going Trigger
Threshold
• +1.6 V ± 0.2 V–AC coupling: low threshold
• +4.2 V ± 0.2 V–DC coupling: high threshold
Negative Going Trigger
Threshold
• +1.2 V ± 0.2 V–AC coupling: low threshold
• +3.2 V ± 0.2 V–DC coupling: high threshold
*Use AC coupling–low threshold or DC coupling–high threshold settings.
AC coupling is only used in conjunction with the low signal input threshold setting. It
is available for densitometer periodic time measurements only.
Prover Detector Switch Inputs:
Conventional and Pipe
Voltage transition starts and stops prove run counts
> +5 VDC ON, < +4 VDC OFF (referenced to DC return)
±250 VDC to chassis ground
E Combo Module Prover
Detector Switch Inputs:
Pulse Interpolation
• Digital I/O (active-low)
• Normally driven by a bounce-free open collector
transistor or a normally open switch
Voltage transition starts and stops prove run counts
> +7 VDC ON, < +6 VDC OFF (referenced to DC return)
