Only the Symbol Native API (SNAPI) with Imaging interface supports image capture.
See Appendix A — Standard Default Parameters for all host device and defaults. If the
default values suit application requirements, programming is not necessary.
To set feature values, scan a single programming symbol or a short programming symbol
sequence. The settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are preserved even when
you power down the scanner.
Most computer monitors allow scanning the programming symbols directly on the screen.
When scanning from the screen, be sure to set the document magnification to a level
where you can see the programming symbol clearly, and bars and/or spaces are not merging.
