Chapter 8: Maintenance
To replace a fuse:
1.
Verify that the fuse has burned out by plugging the docking station into a known good
ACpower source. If the blue power light does not illuminate, the fuse might be burned
out.
2. [Optional] If you have a spare battery, attempt to charge it manually. If the battery
begins to charge, then the docking station might have a burned-out internal fuse. Go to
the procedure described in: Docking Station Internal Fuse on page 165.

Set the power switch to the off position and disconnect the power cord before pro-
ceeding.
4.
Squeeze the two side tabs on the fuse holder and pull it out of its socket.

Replace both fuses with Omron P/N 04563-000 02212-000L or equivalent.
6.
Insert the fuse holder and press it in firmly so that the tabs engage.
7.
Reconnect the power cord to a known good power source and set the power switch to
the on position. Make sure that the blue power light illuminates.

9.
Send an AMR to the docking station and confirm that charging starts (the amber Char-
ging light illuminates).
Contact your local Omron Support if either the power or charging light does not illuminate, or
the fuse burns out a second time.
Docking Station Internal Fuse
Depending on the docking station model, it might contain an internal fuse. The internal fuse
might be burned out if:

The blue power light does not illuminate.
l
You have checked or replaced the external AC power fuses (Docking Station ACPower
Fuse
l
You can successfully charge a spare battery on a manual charge, but a docked AMR
will not change.
Obtain P/N 13091-000 replacement fuses from Omron. There are no acceptable generic altern-
ates.
