Patient Session Summary
The Patient Session Summary is displayed when you select Finished Patient. You should check the summary to
confirm the image and laterality counts are as expected. If the session in incomplete or incorrect select outside
the summary to continue the session.
3.2.9 Capture using Multi-mode
Multi-mode provides a workflow assistance mode. It allows the operator to perform a defined sequence of SLO
and OCT captures, by stepping through the desired mode settings.
The following image modalities are captured in the sequence shown:
Multi-mode image 1 - Red/Green
Multi-mode image 2 - optomap af
Multi-mode image 3 - Optos OCT raster scan
1.
Select Multi-mode and the required laterality.
2. Position the patient, see How to prepare for image capture on page36.

Capture the Red/Green image, see How to capture SLO images on page39.
4.
Check the quality of the captured image and discard and recapture if required. The device will then
select optomap af as the next image to be captured.
5. Capture the optomap af image.
6.
Check the quality of the captured image and discard and recapture if required. The device will then
select Optos OCT raster scan as the next image to be captured.
7. Capture the Optos OCT raster scan, see How to capture OCT images on page48.
8.
Check the quality of the captured image and discard and recapture if required.
9.
Select Finished multi-mode.
3.3 Review images
To record characteristics and observations of a patient's eye, OptosAdvance has a range of tools for noting
these observations in the patient's electronic medical record.
