24.7 Activate Address Setting Mode for DU (H5/A7)
This function can be used by commissioning / service engineer to activate the address
setting mode in the following Display Units connected to the RS485 interface in FT128:
• External Presentation unit (EPU) 1728
• Alert Annunciation unit (AAU) 1736
A specific unit or all units can be activated for address setting.
Note: The units have to be in operation and in quiescent condition, i.e. the units have
already been addressed.
