5.2.1 Card/Port Test (On-line diagnosis)
■ Before executing the Card/Port Test
• This test is required in the following cases:
- When new devices are installed.
- When the device combination is changed.
- When the system detects an alarm or an error message in the error log.
- When the device status becomes “Fault.”
- When a number of extension phones don’t function properly.
• This test is available only in on-line mode.
Refer to Section 2.10 “Starting Up the KX-TD500 System” for details about on-line and off-line.
• The target card should be set to “OUS” status beforehand.
Operation
1. Point to “Utility” in the Main Menu and click.
• The “Utility” drop-down menu is displayed.
2. Click “Diagnosis” in the drop-down menu.
• “Diagnosis - Card Information” screen is displayed.
