Chapter 9: Recipes
Using Recipes with Different Lasair II Models
The Lasair II particle counter can load recipes which were initially created on
instruments with different size channels. However, there are some issues to
consider:
When loading a sample recipe from a different instrument, the Lasair II will attempt
to set the particle alarms based on the original instrument. However, if alarms were
set on sizes not on the new instrument, they cannot be set.
When loading a statistics recipe from a different instrument, if the new instrument
doesn't have the particle size originally used to generate the recipe, the Lasair II
particle counter will either select the smallest possible size, or else issue an error
message, when attempting to load the recipe from the Web browser.
