Chapter 2: Unpacking and Installation
To connect the sample probe to tubing:
1 Insert the ribbed end of the cylindrical sample inlet adaptor fully into one end of
the tube.
2 Insert the ribbed end of the sample probe adaptor fully into the other end of the
tube. See Figure 2-5, “350L and 550L Assembled Sample Probe end of the
Tubing,” on page 2-7.
3 Fit the sample probe over the open end of the sample probe adapter. The sample
probe’s internal O-ring will hold it securely to the adaptor.
4 Remove the protective cap from the sample inlet.
5 Fit the open end of the 1/2-inch adapter over the instrument’s sample inlet.
Gently but firmly, press downward on the adapter until it will not go down any
further. The adapter’s internal O-ring will hold it in place.
