Sampling Beep Mode (Models 310-550L Only)
The “Beep Mode” is essentially a “Geiger counter” mode which provides
audible feedback while sampling. The mode is enabled by means of the Sampling
Setup screen. When enabled, a pop-up selection box is shown on the main screen.
See below.
The pop-up selection box allows the user to set the number of particles per beep,
(1, 10, 100…100,000), or turn the mode off. Thus, if an area has so many particles
that the beep becomes annoying, the user can reduce the beep frequency by
selecting a larger number of counts per beep.
Printing Sampling Parameters
The current sampling setup and alarm settings can be printed from the Status
Screen. From the main display screen, select the button to open the Status
Screen. Then select the button to print the sampling parameters.
