Comm Setup - Network Page
The Data display setup window is used to enable and disable the 0.5μ and 5.0μ data
display mode. See Chapter H, "Pharmaceutical (Two-channel) Output Mode".
This setup screen is also used for TouchRam configuration. See Chapter M, "Touch
RAM".
Network Parameters
Net Addr Sets the IP address of this unique Lasair II particle counter in a decimal
notation form of aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd. Each 3-numeric series represents a value from 0–
255, separated by period characters (.). This address is unique to the hardware it
serves. A valid IP address would look like: “010.255.000.099”. The non-significant
zeros can be dropped so that the same address appears as 10.225.0.99.
Mask Sets the net mask address using a decimal notation form of aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd.
Each 3-numeric series represents a value from 0–255, separated by period
characters “.”. The mask separates the network address from the host address.
Usually, the mask will be similar to “255.255.255.0”. Your network administrator
will tell you if you need to enter this field.
Gateway Used when communicating across networks. The gateway address is a
decimal notation form of nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn. Each 3-numeric series represents a
value of 0–255, separated by period characters “.”. An example of a valid gateway
address is: “10.255.0.60”.
