Setting TCP/IP addresses for direct web browser interface:
1 Start the particle counter (if necessary).
2 From the Main Display Screen, navigate to the Comm Setup-Network screen.
by pressing the Main Setup softkey and then the Comm Setup softkey
.
3 Press the Enter softkey to enable the edit mode. The first part of the Net Address
will be highlighted.
4 Set the Net Address according to your network administrator’s directions.
5 Navigate to the Mask address and set its address according to your network
administrator’s directions.
6 Navigate to the Enable Web Server check box and press the Enter softkey to
place a check in the box.
7 Disable the edit mode and exit the Comm Setup Screen by pressing the Return
Arrow softkey.
8 When the Network Changes dialog box appears, press the Enter softkey. The
Lasair II particle counter will stop and restart.
Net Addr (Net Address) Sets the IP address in the form aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd.
Each 3-digit series is a value of 0–255, separated by a period (.). This address is
unique to each Lasair II particle counter. An example of a valid IP address is:
010.255.000.099.
