Vascular Studies
Vascular studies are performed to obtain images that can be used for
• Detecting vessel size, contour, and patency
•Characterizing obstructions and abnormalities
• Determining blood flow patterns and velocities
• Imaging and measuring anatomic parameters of vessels
• Detecting structural irregularities
