Servicing Conveyors
14. The conveyor belts can be cleaned using a
number of methods, a water hose; a rod with
scraper attached, or a brush or shovel.
15. In the case of a blockage at a drive or tail drum
it may be necessary to loosen the tension on
the conveyor belt so that the blockage can be
removed. Re-tension and re-align the belt after
blockage is removed.
16. When work is complete, make sure that all
guards are closed or replaced and secured
before re-starting the machine.
