Removing the HDD Backplane (2.5”
HDD w/o Expander SKU)
Prerequisite:
Prerequisite:
Remove the HDDs. See Removing a 2.5” Hard Drive on
page 2-4.
Remove the top cover. See Opening the Top Cover on
page 2-2.
1. Disconnect the following cables from the 1:1 BP:
a. 10 pin Power connector for BP with +12V, +5V, +3.3V
b. SGPIO connector 3 for HDD 8 ~ 9.
c. SGPIO connector 2 for HDD 4 ~ 7.
d. SGPIO connector 1 for HDD 0 ~ 3.
e. Golden finger for LED signals to 1 to 1 HDD BP B2B
connector.
f. Winbond W83793 for FAN control
g. IPMB connector linking to on board BMC to control
FAN Speed
h. AMI connector linking to on board BMC to record the
HDD Status (option)
i. AMI 9086 LED control mode setting jumper.
j. System FAN 0 for CPU 0 Block
k. System FAN 1 for CPU 0 Block
l. System FAN 2 for CPU 0 Block
m. System FAN 3 for CPU 1 Block
n. System FAN 4 for CPU 1 Block
o. System FAN 5 for CPU 1 Block
