138 Chapter 13 Testing HDCP on HDMI
10. Select Repeater3AB device by pressing the adjacent soft key to specify that the device
under test is a repeater.
Alternatively, you can specify the device under test as a repeater for the 3AB test using
the following commands:
CPTX:DUTT 2 // specifies the device under test as a repeater
for test 3AB.
You can query the current value of the parameter with:
CPTX:DUTT? // returns the device under test type.
11. (Optional) Specify the remaining parameters in the EditPCP menu using the table
above.
Alternatively, you can specify the parameters through the command line as follows:
CPTX:CTSV 1.2 // specifies which HDCP CTS you wish to test to.
Values are 1.1 for CTS 1.1 and 1.2 for CTS 1.2.
CPTX:RKSV 10 // specifies maximum number of downstream devices
that can be supported in the repeater’s KSV list.
Valid values are 2-127.
CPTX:ROOR 0 // indicates whether DUT (repeater) outputs content
to the downstream repeater that does not have any
downstream device connected.
Values are: 1 = yes; 0 = no.
Note 1: This parameter only applies when testing
to HDCP CTS 1.1.
CPTX:RRAC 5 // specifies number of times a repeater DUT attempts
authentication before transitioning into the
authenticated state. Valid values, 1 or greater.
CPTX:RHPD 0 //
Indicates whether the repeater DUT has the
capability to signal HDCP_HPD by user
operation.
Values are: 1 = yes; 0 = no.
CPTX:SDCZ 0 // indicates whether what value the 882 should use
for testing. A value of 0 means the device count
specified by the SKSV will be used for testing.
A value of 1 means device count of zero will be
used.
Note 1: This parameter is only used for the
1B-01 for HDCP CTS 1.1.
Repeater Out OnlyRep
(Not used in HDCP CTS 1.2)
Indicates whether the repeater DUT outputs content to

device connected. The values are + for yes and - for no.
Repeater HDCP HPD signal
(Not used for 3AB tests.
Only applies to 3C tests)
Indicates whether the repeater DUT has the capability
to signal HDCP_HPD by user operation. The values are
+ for yes and - for no.
