Adjustingthescrollspeed
Youcanadjustthespeedatwhichthedisplayscrolls,butthesame
sectionofthebottomisdisplayedregardlessofscrollingspeed.
Afasterspeeddisplaysmoredetail.Thisisusefulwhenyouare
lookingforsh.Ifyouselectaslowerspeedtheinformationremains
onthedisplayforlonger.
Thefollowingoptionsareavailable:
•Manual.Thisallowsyoutosetthescrollspeedasapercentageof
themaximumscrollrateforthatdepth.Thelowerthepercentage,
theslowertheimagewillscroll.Thedefaultismanualadjustment
withafullspeedscroll(100%).
•Automatic.Thesystemautomaticallyadjuststhescrollspeed,
basedonboatspeed:
–Lessthan,orequalto0.5kt,scrollspeedisconstantat10%.
–Between0.5–15kt,scrollspeedvarieslinearlywithboatspeed.
–Greaterthan15kt,scrollspeedisconstantat100%.
Pausingthescrollingimage
Youcanpausethedisplaytoseea‘snapshot’oftheimage.Whena
displayispaused,scrollingstopsbutthedepthindicationcontinues
tobeupdated.Scrollpause/resumeaffectsthecurrentlyselected
shnderfrequency(200kHz,50kHzorBOTH).
Ifyouareindualfrequencymode,youcanpauseonefrequency
whiletheothercontinuestoscroll.Thisallowsyoutoinspecta
pausedimage,whiletheotherfrequencycontinuestoscrolland
detectsh.
Note:Scrollingwillresumeifthefrequencychanges.For
exampleanautomaticchangeoffrequencyresultingfromofa
changeindepth.

Fromtheshnderscreen:
1.PresstheMENUbutton.
2.UsethetrackpadtohighlighttheFishnderSetupmenuitem,
thenpressthetrackpadrighttoselectit.
3.UsethetrackpadtoselecttheManualScrollSpeedoption,then
pressthetrackpadrighttoselectit.
4.Usetherotarycontroltoadjustthescrollspeedtotherequired
value.
5.PresstheOKbutton.
Note:Ifyouhaveconguredatransducerwithnopaddlewheel,
selectingAUTOwillresultinfullspeedscrolling(100%)

frequenciesinseparatewindows.
