4.2.1 Depiction of a Code Evaluation on the REA ScanCheck 3
4.2.1.1 Quick Display with LED and Acoustic Signaling
The three center LEDs directly underneath the name
represent the measurement results as a quick display with
the colors of a traffic light:
• The red LED fail lights up as an error message if the
selected grade is not reached.
• The green "OK“ LED lights up if the measurement result
has at least reached the selected grade or better.
•
The yellow LED “Warning” lights up in case of a warning message (e.g. if the scan beam was too narrow for
registration of the rest zones)
Corresponding acoustic signals sound in combination with the optical LED displays:
• 1 x tone / green LED on = The measurement was successful and the result is the same or
better than the preset specifications.
• 2 x tones / green and red LEDs off = The measurement was not successful (no or false code symbol
recognized (the unit may not have been set to "automatically
searching code type" or the code symbol is so defective that it
could not be read/decoded).
• 1 x tone plus 2 x tone and red LED on = The measurement and decoding was successful but there is at
least one error in the code symbol so that the preset
specifications cannot be fulfilled.
4.2.1.2 Evaluation of an ISO/IEC 15416 Verification - 1st Screen

Verification standard and code specification for this evaluation:
Display of the 7 determined ISO/IEC 15416 verification
parameters as bar graphic with measurement value/target value
and the grade thereby attained.
The respective bar is always colored green if the selected grade
is reached or exceeded.
The respective bar is colored red if the selected grade could not
be reached for the parameter.
The poorest grade value of all single parameters determines the
SRP grade of the single evaluation.
