10. Appendix - Warranty Terms
REA Elektronik GmbH guarantees that the product delivered by REA is free of material and
manufacturing defects. This guarantee is applicable for a period specified in the order confirmation.
Warranty claims are voided if the unit is not installed, handled and used according to the instructions in
the supplied documentation.
Warranty Repair
If the purchased REA unit should no longer function properly within the aforementioned warranty
period, REA Elektronik will repair it for the customer without cost. To prevent unnecessary costs, it is
recommended that all information contained in the operating instructions be carefully examined before
the unit is shipped.
Return of a Defective Unit for Repair
In the case that the defective unit is to be returned for repair, it must be uninstalled - as described in
the manual - and the original packaging used for delivery. The return shipment is at the sender's cost,
whereby the shipment must be insured according to the unit's value.
REA Elektronik GmbH or the affected authorized REA partner will return the unit to the recipient free of
charge after warranty repair is complete. Express deliveries can be made upon request. The additional
cost incurred for this will always be charged. If the unit is not sent to REA in the original packaging,
REA will use new original packaging for the return shipment and this will be charged.
General Warranty Terms
REA Elektronik GmbH accepts no liability for any indirect secondary or subsequent damages, including
damages that cause loss of profits or production, delivery time delays, market losses, increased
operating and business costs, or the like.
Customer Service after Expiration of the Warranty Period
REA customer service is available to the customer after the warranty period and for the life of the unit
for service. Please contact REA Elektronik GmbH or your responsible REA partner to this regard.
