produced in our aforementioned production facilities since 2008 conforms to the following standards:
• ISO/IEC 15426-1 Automatic identification and data capture techniques – Bar Code Verifier
conformance specification – Part 1 Linear symbols
The REA ScanCheck 3n is a unit that fulfills the minimum functionality (mandatory) and the optional
functions (optional) of this standard.
• ENV 12647 Bar coding - verification requirements for bar code verification units
The REA ScanCheck 3n is a Class A verification unit according to ENV 12647.
The recommended functions listed in the standard that exceed the standard are likewise fulfilled by
the REA ScanCheck 3n
These standards contain definitions of reference verification symbols. Conformity with these reference
verification symbols is inspected.
