If the ON field is selected, this parameter is displayed and incorporated in the evaluation and in the
total classification.
These parameters are valuated either with class 4 (good) or with class 0 (error).
At the ANZ selection (for Anzeige; display), the respective parameter is displayed in the evaluations
but the individual evaluation is not incorporated in the total classification.
With selection OFF, the parameter is neither displayed nor considered in the total evaluation.
In the factory presets, all parameters are set to ON. Their individual evaluations are
incorporated in the total evaluation.
PCS(SC): The print contrast (Print Contrast Signal) is determined from the maximum and minimum
values of the symbol contrast values for the reflection of the bars and gaps, including the left and right
bright field zones.
PSC(EC): The print contrast is determined from the poorest reflection values to neighboring bars and
gap transitions.
Bars The values for the largest bar width deviations can be evaluated here
Average value The average value of all bar width deviations is evaluated here
Gaps - The largest gap width deviations can be evaluated here.
E-Value is the maximum and minimum deviation of the width of neighboring bars and gap
pairs
P-Value is the maximum width deviation of all bars and gaps required for the encryption of a
code character (e.g. nominal 7 modules in an EAN/UPC Code)
Ratio is the smallest difference between narrow to wide bar widths in bar code types with
only 2 different bar widths (e.g. Codabar, Code 39, Code 2/5i).
4.6.3.3.19 Setup Menu 3 Settings - 3 Evaluation - Fourth Sub-Menu Page
On the last menu page, the settings for the evaluations of code
sizes and for the evaluation of code content can be made. Only
one of the 4 different values for the evaluation results can be
accepted by the code sizes, because these are identical
specifications - depending on the code type verified - but with 4
different name descriptions.
Z-Module: Is the measured module width in a bar code. This is
a unique size information in µm for all bar code
symbologies.
