The allowable period is verified for the selected GS1-128 application identifier (AI).
By activating the <OK> field, the selected settings for the respective AI identifier are accepted and
saved and the sub-menu for selection of an AI identifier is displayed again. This can be closed at any
time by pressing the <ESC> button.
Any previously entered settings are not accepted when doing so.
Example (Entries for the Application Identifiers 11 and 13)
The current date is December 01, 2010.
The selected area in the "GS1-128 Settings" could then be selected as follows:
OFFSET
From - 0010 Days
To + 0020 Days
The allowed range is then from Nov. 21, 2010 to Dec. 21, 2010.

In verification this date creates an error message.
(11)101121 Production date Nov. 21, 2010
In verification this date does not create an error message because it is still within the specified period.
Example (Entries for the Application Identifier 15 and 17)
Selected time period according to the current date of the internal clock of the REA ScanCheck 3:
From + 0020 Days
To + 0030 Days
The permissible time period goes from Dec. 21, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2010 in dependence on a current
date, December 01, 2010.

The relative indication of the valid date range described here was selected in order to prevent a daily
adjustment of the date limits.
