    What to do if my Ricoh A-C2 shows scanner home position error 1?

      If your Ricoh All in One Printer displays a scanner home position error 1, turn the operation switch and main power switch off and on. This error may be caused by several factors, including a defective SIB or scanner drive motor, a defective scanner motor, disconnected harnesses between the SIB and scanner drive motor or its power source, a defective scanner HP sensor, a disconnected harness between the SIB and HP sensor, or a defective scanner wire, timing belt, pulley, or carriage.
