Symptom
Frequent JAM20
If a machine condition persists where JAM20 occurs repeatedly, the system will eventually
become unable to recover from jams even when having removed the jammed paper.
Cause
Frequent occurrences of JAM20 are caused by either a breakage of the molded coupling
[C], or an incorrect engagement of the molded coupling [C] and the metal coupling [D] (see
the next page) which stops the registration roller from functioning properly.
Opening and closing the Right Drawer Unit with the couplings incorrectly engaged will
eventually break the molded coupling [C].
