CAUSE
Cause

Gap between the drum and

Align the drive gear and

old type (D0742301-03).
Replace with the latest
development unit. (Step 4)

damaged during transport.

Replace developer. (Step 4)

Step1:
Are the markings on the drive gear and coupling gear of the development roller
aligned?
Yes : Go to step 2.
No : Do the “Development roller Drive gear – Coupling gear alignment
procedure” described in the last part of this bulletin.
Print the image showing the problem. Has the problem been resolved?
Yes : Finished.
No : Go to step 2.
