1. Overview of the AC transfer function
What is the AC transfer function?
AC transfer is a new function. Its purpose is to enhance toner transfer on textured paper,
available on machines installed with the AC power supply unit. This function is
implemented in the mass production starting from Dec 2012.
However, by installing the AC power supply unit and the necessary firmware as described
in this bulletin, the function will also become available with original mass production units.
