CAUSE
If the PTR is scratched along the direction of its rotation, toner particles infiltrate into the
scratches. PTR cleaning generates an opposite charge on these toner particles, causing
the unwanted toner transfer to paper.
SOLUTION
Set SP 2690-021 (Set:PTR:Standard non-image) to “0”.
If this SP modification does not resolve the problem, replace the PTR and set the SP value
back to default “0.83”.
