use is considered misuse.

Misuse of the lifting column can lead to hazardous sit-
uations.
– Never use the lifting column or its components in
potentially explosive atmospheres.
– Never use the lifting column in areas in which work
is carried out with flammable substances (class
AP/APG).
– Never use the lifting column outdoors.
– Never use the lifting column in areas with direct
contact to food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic prod-
ucts.
– Never use the lifting column outside of the specifi-
cations indicated in
Ä
Chapter 8 “Technical data”
on page 113.
– Never assemble or operate the lifting column
upside down.
– Never open the lifting column.
– Never expose the lifting column to impulse forces
and/or impact stresses.
– Never convert or retrofit the lifting column or its
components to change the area of application or
the usability.

CAUTION!
Tripping hazard as a result of exposed cables!
If the cables on the lifting columns are not routed prop-
erly, there is a risk of injury if persons trip or fall over
them.
– Route cables safely and properly so that tripping
hazards are prevented.
