3.2.1 Function description - Multilift I
On the two-stage lifting columns Multilift I with and without milled
slot (Fig. 3/A + B,
Ä
page85) an internal profile is extended from
and retracted into the external profile, thus generating the lift move-
ment.
On the lifting column with internal carriage (Fig. 3/C,
Ä
page 85) a
carriage in the external profile generates the lift movement.
The Mono version of the Multilift I lifting column is only suitable for
individual and parallel operation. In parallel mode multiple lifting
columns can be positioned in parallel to the same height, but not
synchronously.
Additionally, the Synchro version of the Multilift I lifting column is
suitable for synchronous operation. Multiple lifting columns can be
positioned at the same height synchronously.
A connected controller (
Ä
page 91) in conjunction with integrated
sensors ensures synchronous running. This facilitates a constant
adjustment of the level of all lifting columns in both directions of
travel, even with different loads.
3.2.2 Function description - Multilift II
Multilift II lifting columns are available in a two-stage or three-stage
design, and are designed for mono and synchronous operation.
On the two-stage lifting columns (e.g. Multilift II Standard
Fig. 6/A,
Ä
page86) an internal profile is extended from and
retracted into the external profile, thus generating the lift move-
ment.
On the three-stage lifting columns (e.g. Multilift II telescope,
Fig. 6/B,
Ä
page86) an internal and a middle profile are extended
from and retracted into the external profile, thus generating the lift
movement.
The following is a description of the special variants of the Multi-
lift II lifting columns.
This variant has an integrated damping system that is able to
absorb high impact loads, such as those that occur when
unloading a workpiece.
