Why does DriveOvervoltage Fault happen in Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6000 Servo Drives?
- KKristen JohnsonAug 22, 2025
A DriveOvervoltage Fault happens due to excessive power regeneration or if the DC bus voltage is too high (over 820V for a 460V system or over 410V for a 230V system). To resolve this, try changing the deceleration or motion profile. You might also need to use a larger system (motor and Kinetix 6000 drive) or install a shunt module. Also, verify that the input voltage is within the specified limits.
