Credit Return
To ring a credit sale
1 In the Number keys area, press 100, and then press the key.
2 In the Number keys area, press 200, and then press the key.
3 Press the or the key.
Note
You do not have to enter an amount before pressing either of the credit keys.
Credit Return
Example 12: Refund $1.00 in Department 1 and credit to a Credit key.
Note
Dept. 15 and/or Dept. 16 keys must be programmed as Credit keys and
turned on for this example to work. See Programming the Credit Keys on
page 40.
To ring a credit return
1 Press the key.
2 In the Number keys area, press 100 and then press the key.
3 Press the or the key.
It is not necessary to enter any amount before pressing either of the
credit keys.
Dept Shift Key
Example 13: Ring up a $1.00 item in Department 1 (taxable), $2.00 in
Department 21 (non-taxable) and $3.00 in Department 33 and compute change
from $10.00 cash tendered.
Note
Departments 21 and 33 must be programmed.
To ring a sale using the Dept Shift key
1 In the Number keys area, press 100, and then press the key.
2 In the Number keys area, press 200, then press the key, and then
press the key.
3 In the Number keys area, press 300, press , in the rounded
Number keys, press 33, and press again.
