System Options
Select from the following options to set the rounding.
After you are done, you can check your results. See Running the Options
Dump Report on page 79.
11. Decimal
The decimal point is set by selecting from the following 4 options:
After you program the decimal point, you do not need to specify a decimal
when you ring up sales or during programming. If you use a decimal point
when you enter a price, you hear an error beep.
The only time you use the decimal point key is when you are ringing up
the quantity of a sale under a gallonage department. For example, 10.25
gallons of gasoline or 1.875 pounds of deli meat.
After you are done, you can check your results. See Running the Options
Dump Report on page 79.
To Default
Resets all the SYSTEM Options (System options only) to factory default
settings. It is strongly recommended that you run a Z-report and any other
reports first (i.e. PLU, Clerk, Electronic Journal, etc.), since resetting to
default settings may affect these reports. After running the Z-reports, then
return to this Parameter Option and proceed with resetting to factory
default settings.
