Initial Installation
6.2.3 Installing the Dialysis Probe into
theBioreactor
t Fit the friction washer (2) and O-ring (3) to the
dialysis probe (3).
NOTICE
Note the 5-cm minimum immersion depth of the
dialysis probe in the bioreactor, otherwise this
could lead to incorrect readings.
t Install the dialysis probe on the bioreactor.
6.2.4 Sterilization of the Dialysis Probe Prior
to Connection
Before connecting the dialysis probe to the
measuring instrument BioPAT
®
Trace | BioPAT
®
Multi Trace), the probe must be sterilized along
with the bioreactor.
t Connect the dialysis probe (1) to a single-use
syringe (2).
t Fill the dialysis probe with deionized water
using the single-use syringe.
t At the same time, check the dialysis probe
for leaks.
t Remove the single-use syringe.
