Intended Use
Your pantograph is exclusively used for collecting and carrying current for electric
vehicles using a catenary. The current from the overhead line is passed to the
actuator by the vehicle. The pantograph is mounted on the vehicle roof, and it is
electrically insulated by insulators.
The pantograph is equipped with state of the art and recognized safety rules. Despite
this, a risk of physical injury to the user or cause damage to the pantograph and
other property can be possible.
• Only use the pantograph in perfect condition.
• Only use the pantograph according to intended use, security and danger.
• Disorders that can affect the safety have to be eliminated immediately.
• Typical operation of the pantograph is carrying current for electric vehicles using
a catenary. Usually the pantograph performs THREE raising-and-lowering-cycles
per day within typical operation.
Any other use or extended use is considered improper. The manufacturer / supplier
is not liable for damages resulting from not-intended use; the user bears sole risk.
The intended use also includes compliance with the operating instructions, inspection
and maintenance requirements.
