General Information
Prior to disassembling pantograph components, please study the spare parts
catalogue and inform yourself about the relationship of the individual component
parts ( Chapter #17).
Safety Instructions

Electrical current in Catenary
Death, burn-up
Catenary Switch off and ground current.
Secure against reset.
Unsecured squeezing points at raised pantograph
Squeezing, Amputation
Lower pantograph before cleaning, maintenance, repairs or other work.
Suspended load while transportation with crane or forklift
Death, injuries
No one is allowed to be under the pantograph while transportation.
Falling tools or items
Death, injuries
After repairs, adjustment or maintenance:
Remove tools or loose items from roof.
Unexpected pressure
Injuries, damage of pantograph
Depressurize pneumatic system before installation work.

Injuries due to lack of protective clothing

Always wear protective clothing.
