Attach graphite ferrule to detector end of
column.
(1) Using the ferrule adjuster for FID, fix the graphite
ferrule in the same procedure as in the case of
the injector port end.
You can fix the ferrule at 99 mm from the column
end.
(2) Adjust the ferrule position (L).

TCD: L=89 mm
NOTE
For the detector end, you will use Column nut (with
split). You don't need to place the nut before graphite
ferrule.
You can insert some narrow columns into the
standard FID jet. But in these cases, the detector
gases may not flow correctly. We recommend you to
adjust L=95-96 mm. for the standard FID jet.
Refer to " Length from column end to ferrule" P.61 for the
type of FID jet types.
