Safety Precautions
Installation Location
To ensure safe operation, contact your Shimadzu representative if product installation, adjustment, or re-
installation (after the product is moved) is required.
Clearance on Sides and Rear Face
Refer to the instruction manual for information about power supply, wiring, and piping.
WARNING
FIRE
Be sure to keep flammable materials away from exhaust opening, since exhaust air is extremely hot.
CAUTION
When the column oven is cooled, extremely hot
air is exhausted from the rear face exhaust vent.
As a result, when installing the instrument be
sure to observe the following.
1. DO NOT place flammable materials behind
the instrument.
2. Be sure to maintain a clearance of 400 mm or
more between the rear cover and wall.
3. Be sure to maintain a clearance of 50 mm or
more on the left side of the instrument.
4. To open/close the oven door, be sure to
maintain a clearance of 100 mm or more on
the right side of the instrument.
5. Be sure to maintain sufficient space in the rear
for maintenance and inspection of the rear face of the instrument.
