SUPPLEMENTARY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS | VMS4100/5100
The card slot is sealed to prevent removal of the alibi memory card.
The calibration switch is sealed to prevent it from being misaligned.
The legally relevant data lines are protected against disconnection by a manipulation
guard (Ethernet connections X13 and X14 in this example).
NOTE! The X11 and X12 Ethernet connections and/or fieldbus connections can be
considered legally relevant. In this case, an appropriately modified manipulation guard is
applied.

The connections of legally relevant sensors and I/Os of the SIM2000-2 Prime controller
are secured by covering the relevant plug connectors with a manipulation guard.
