6.2 Configuring the system with SOPAS
The measurement system is adjusted by configuring the measuring conditions on site.
This enables measurement, analysis, and output properties to be parameterized as
required.
The SOPAS ET configuration software (included) allows interactive configuration. You can
use the software to parameterize and test the properties, analysis behavior, and output
properties of the system as required.
6.2.1 Connecting the configuration PC
The SOPAS configuration software is installed on a computer which is connected via an
Ethernet cable – depending on the cabinet variant – to a free port on the SIM2000-2
Prime controller or a free port on an Ethernet switch of the TTC100-2.
The configuration software is available for download from the SICK home page.
