13.2.2 Replacement of PCBs
WARNING
PCBs may be replaced only by properly qualified personnel.
PCBs must not be removed or inserted when the power supply is connected.
Non-observance of the safety instructions can result in death, severe personal injury or
substantial property damage.
CAUTION
PCBs contains electrostatically sensitive devices. Before touching a PCB, the person carrying
out the work must himself be electrostatically discharged. The simplest way of doing this is to
touch an electrically conductive earthed object, e.g. socket outlet earth contact.
CAUTION
If one of the following boards is replaced
• C98043-A7004
(field board for units with disk-type thyristors)
• C98043-A7010
(power section for 15A and 30A units)
• C98043-A7014
• C98043-A7015
(field boards for 60A to 1200A units)
the "internal offset adjustments" (P051 = 22) must be repeated !
