When voltage inputs are selected and connected,
the relay records the real, reactive, and apparent
energy consumed by the motor.
8.2 Power Measurement
Conventions
The SIMPRO-100 Relay uses the IEEE
convention for power measurement assuming
motor action. The implications of this convention
are described by Table 8.1.

power and energy are always into the motor.
