Coil Command
The SIMPRO-100 Relay uses this function code
for a variety of data control purposes. Specifically,
you can use it to clear archive records, operate
output contacts, and operate breaker and remote
bit elements.

The SIMPRO-100 Relay offers the commands
listed in Table C.9 that you can execute using
function code 05h. The command coils are
self-resetting.

Register Command
The SIMPRO-100 Relay uses this function to
allow a Modbus master to write directly to a
database register. If you are accustomed to 4X
references with this function code, for 6-digit
addressing, add 400001 to the standard
database addresses.
